History:
55 years of hard execute as an individual business man, Suliman Olayan has founded Olayan group. Suliman Olayan started his journey with his elder associate when they crossed the Arabian Gulf to Bahrain. In Bahrain 1928, he started his educational journey by joining an American school where he learned English language. In that time, Suliman Olayan skills has been improved with the great experience that he had gained and do him analyze and see things as they could be.
In 1936, he worked for Bahrain Petroleum fraternity.



After that he joined the Aramco ascendant company (California Arabian Standard Oil Company). In the date of World War II, the oil industry was expanding which gave Suliman the hazard to progress General Contracting Company (GCC). Bechtel was the first customer of GCC. This made the reputation of Sulaiman to rise up to the sky because of ARAMCO Tapline project which Bechtel was the trusty company to manage the construction of that project. Sulaiman Olayan had proven that he was a dependable contractor who delivered high quality of work.
With that achievement, Suliman has found an opportunity to play a key role to develop the Saudi Arabia electric power companies which was during 1950s.
