Personal Development Section 1 Introduction I am applying for adult nursing because my passion and commitment towards the general health and well-being of patients gives me amusement and pride, as well as knowing I gain gone to extreme lengths to help and armorial bearing for an individual. Education I studied at Philips High School between the ages of 11-16. I studied Home Economics / Child Development, French, English, Maths, Science, Social Science. The GCSEs I received from these subjects are D-G. As I was a naïve teenager I didnt acknowledge the implications of my education, therefore, I didnt work as hard as I could have done. After thirteen years of being egress of education I decided, with the knowledge and experience in variant health care fields, I would return back to education to pursue my career as an adult nurse. My time at bury college has given me the academic and study skills needed to yet my education at university to study a nursing degree. My first year at bury college has successfully given me a diploma in access to further education. I am currently studying an access to nursing level 3 diploma.
The course includes Study Skills, Sociology, Life Science and wellness Studies. These subjects impart help me acquire analytical research skills to study separately and in group discussions. Life Science and Health Studies will expand my knowledge on the biological science of the gay body, and will alike help to learn further what comfortably health involves, e.g. Health and Safety in Clinical Practice, Health Promotion and Delivery of Health Care.
