The Old Building

Their screams echoed throughout the house, screams of agony, screams of fear. I

walk through the h exclusivelyway, trying straining to remain silent. A floorboard creaks. A blood

stained ax extends slowly through the door. I see the face of the wielder, an odd

combine of flesh and metal. He walks towards me. Frozen in place, I rear do naught

but stand, and watch as he approaches. He stops a foot away from me, his stench filling

my nostrils. I close my eyes, and wait for it to end.

The sun blazes upon our backs as we run our workaday laps around the school,

panting. later we finish, we all decide that running isnt our best ability. While surface-to-air missile,

Scott, Kevin and I were walking towards the locker room, surface-to-air missile suddenly asked, Ya

know that building in the northwest extension ph cardinal that building that burned down in our freshman

year? We all ignored him, seeing as how it was pretty obvious that we knew about

it. soundly anyways, apparently four students and two teachers went missing in it.

After several seconds of awkward silence in which no one said anything, we all vowed

to never step foot in the building, and we stayed away from the building, until Sam went

missing.

No one knew where Sam had gone. We assay calling him, but he wasnt

responding to our calls.



At first, we were all chafe, because he had our project in his

binder, but after talking to his parents and universe told that hed gone to school that day, we

went from being vexed to being solicitous. We all went back to school to look for him,

and plant his phone, abandoned in the northwest corner of the school.

Deciding that Sam couldnt be anywhere else, we all walked into the building.

Why we went in alone, Ill never understand. At first, the building seemed normal

enough, a berth musty and broken down with a lone delineation askew, but it didnt seem like
