The legalisation of marijuana has been a long running debate; one that has cost our country m balefulions of dollars. Legalizing marijuana would dish our economy through the taxing sales events similar to that of tobacco. The tax revenue generated by the collection of taxes could provide for medical benefits to severely ill patients. Savings will also be realized by essentially eliminating the expenses necessary to keep the use of marijuana unratified. The legalization of marijuana has the singular ability to change the direction of the Statess long-standing public policy regarding its handling of marijuana.
