There are so many things that come to mind when one is asked to write an essay on our parents expectations and without proper organization, one is likely to write a very shallow essay that will not score any impressive marks. Organization begins with collecting every material that is required for the essay and making one’s mind ready for the essay writing process.
As much as the expectations that parents have for their children vary from one home to the next, most of these expectations are similar and are documented in numerous peer reviewed books. One should there foregather several materials that contain relevant material especially if the essay is of college level because most college professors usually expect their students’ essays to be referenced.
One should then generate an outline from the gathered data that will guide the writer on the materials to be included in the essay. After creating the outline, the student should begin by tackling each of the sections mentioned in the outline, one by one.
This procedure of tackling each point one at a time makes it possible to break down the main points into smaller fragments and therefore makes the essay writing process much easier to manage.
As one writes the essay, one should always keep in mind what type of essay one is supposed to write and that is whether the essay is descriptive, analytical, or persuasive or of any other type. This essay on expectations is both descriptive and analytical and when writing the expectations, one should be able to debate within the essay as to whether these expectations are realistic or not.
