INTRODUCTION:
Our pay minister Mr.Pranab Muhargee had presented the budget of 2009-2010 on 06th July 2009.
The union budget is promising to leave more money in the hands of the earth through a massive step-up in kind sector and marginal tinkering of personal income-tax slabs.
And this budget pleases the salaried inwardness class farmers and others in countryfied areas by providing incentives even at the higher deficit.
REACTIONS:
The finance minister has done an admirable job. The major(ip) concern is to minimize the impact of global recession, pristine Minister Manmohan Singh.
The union budget has proved to be a damp squib although it promised a better deal in the scotch survey, BJPs National President Mr. Rajnath Singh.
There would be no need for another stimulus in the reliable fiscal, The Planning Commission Deputy Chairman Mr. Montek Singh Ahluwia.

The Social Sector is the clear achiever in budget 2009-10, with an enhanced allocation on volt sectors for the public.

EMPLOYMENT:
To enhance employment, the 100-day rural employment aim under the National Rural Employment Guarantee procedure (NREGA) has been given an allocation of Rs.39,100 crores in 2009-10. It was a great development of 144% over the previous year.
And also a 59% increase of Rs.12000 crores for Pradhan Mantri Grama Yojna (PMGY).
FOOD SECURITY:
The National Food Security Act was also announced, with an extension of earlier implementation.
This ensures that every family living below poverty line in rural or urban will get 25 kg of rice or wheat at a price Rs.3/kg every month.
